Solgar Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Nature's Bounty Co., formerly known as NBTY, is an American manufacturer of vitamins and nutritional supplements that are distributed under many third party brands in the United States and internationally. Its name was changed from Nature's Bounty, Inc. to NBTY, Inc. in 1995. NBTY also markets products to chain stores such as CVS and Target.

An upset customer shares her experience on, "Found a piece of broken brown glass after having taken half the bottle! The bottle was not broken at all. It had to be from the manufacturer. So then I looked up who owns Solgar. It seems they have been bought out and the company that bought them out got bought out. So in other words they are a huge conglomerate company. I will stick with thorne or host defense or other small companies."

Tell the world why Solgar sucks!

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Very high turn over rate. The management team is unprofessional and lack the knowledge to lead thus the high turnover rate. the plant manager even resigned"

Former Employee - Customer Care Specialist says

"Micromanagement! High turnover rate. You feel like you're walking on eggshells. Management had even said that in one year they fired at least 8 employees. There is a lot of favoritism going on. This is all in regards to customer service department. There is minimal to no growth within the company. Do not recommend joining this department if you don't want to be controlled and feel like you're not welcomed."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Discriminative, don't treat associates very well"

Magasinier (Former Employee) says

"Pas terrible. Manque de fermeté de la part des patrons. Les cadres font ce qu'ils veulent et pas de rendement de leur part.patronsles employés"

Peter says

"seem like another scam company. Never answer emails on whats in their products and their labels are very vague so you cant tell whats in them or who they are suitable beyond the usual nonsense hype. On that basis I wont be investing and you're out! We cant afford to mess about with our health and if you cant trust the brand its probably because its snake oil."
